How To Choose UPVC Window Transmission Rod
Let's look at the things that matter:
* Rail (rod) length - This is the total length of the bar from one end to the other.
* Screw hole center distance. 43 mm is the industry standard for almost all transmission rods.
* Cam height - The height of the locking component protruding from the bar. Often called a mushroom cam due to its shape, it easily replaces the roller cam.
* Backset distance - This is the horizontal distance from the lock face to the center line of the handle screw fixing hole.
* Rail width - This is the lateral width of the bar.

The new locks feature an adjustable mushroom-shaped cam, which can be adjusted using an Allen wrench. If the handle is loose and easily slides into the closed position, you may need to increase the clamping force by adjusting the cam. Similarly, if the handle is difficult to close, you may need to reduce the clamping force. We recommend that you regularly maintain the locks with a maintenance spray to extend their lifespan and keep them running smoothly.
