1. Transmission: The transmission is one of the most basic components of the gearbox, mainly responsible for changing the engine's speed and torque, and transmitting them to the wheels. The driving speed and load of the vehicle are controlled by the gearbox. There are two common types of transmissions: manual transmission and automatic transmission.
2. Clutch: The clutch is located between the gearbox and the engine, and its main function is to separate and connect the engine and gearbox. When shifting gears, the clutch disconnects the connection between the engine and the transmission, thereby achieving gear shifting. At the same time, during acceleration, the clutch can gradually transfer the engine's power to the gearbox and wheels.
3. Transmission shaft: The transmission shaft is located between the front and rear axles, transmitting power from the gearbox to the wheels. The transmission shaft is generally composed of two or more joints, universal joints, intermediate supports, etc. The corresponding transmission shaft can be selected according to the driving mode of the vehicle.
4. Differential: The differential is located in the center of the rear axle and is another important component of the transmission. It allows the wheels to rotate independently without being affected when turning. When driving in a straight line, the function of the differential is relatively simple, mainly playing a role in transmission. But when driving and turning, the differential can use its own function and device to prevent or slightly slide the wheels, thereby ensuring safe and stable driving.
