Material of pulley
Pulley is the most important hardware component in sliding doors, and there are three types of pulley materials available in the market: plastic pulley, metal pulley, and fiberglass pulley. Metal pulleys have high strength, but they are prone to generating noise when in contact with the track. Carbon glass fiber pulley with roller bearings, smooth push-pull, wear-resistant and durable, box type enclosed structure effectively prevents dust, more suitable for northern areas with strong sandstorms, and two anti jumping devices ensure safe and reliable sliding. However, the wheels of some low-end sliding doors are made of organic plastic, which is prone to wear and deformation. Over time, they will rise and fall when pushed or pulled, and the open wheel structure is prone to dust and wear on the internal bearings, making it difficult to ensure flexible pushing and pulling. Even without an anti bounce device, it is easy to derail during pushing and pulling, which is very unsafe.
Shake the sliding door vertically with the sliding rail. The smaller the degree of shaking, the better its stability. When shaking, pay attention to the upper pulley and upper slide rail. If the sliding door is of good quality, the gap between them is almost zero, so there will be no vibration when sliding, and it will be smooth and steady. Therefore, the tight combination of the upper pulley and the slide rail determines the smoothness of its sliding.
Advantages and disadvantages of the bottom wheel
Only a bottom wheel with a super large load-bearing capacity can ensure its good sliding effect and long service life. High end mobile sliding doors are made of carbon glass fiber, with internal ball bearings and non dry lubricating esters. Poor quality pulleys are often made of engineering plastics or organic plastics, which have low load-bearing capacity and may not cause major problems when first used. However, they are prone to deformation over time, affecting the push-pull effect
Board style
Partition: As a partition door, most of them have a relatively transparent surface, which can make the space more spacious, balance the decorative effect, and match the overall living room style.
Cabinet doors: Materials include wooden boards, glass, mirrors, and others. The height of glass sliding doors should not exceed 2.5 meters, and mirror sliding doors should not be selected for bedrooms. Board sliding doors are simple, elegant, and have good safety. In addition, there are also louver series sliding doors and board sliding doors.
Stop device
The stop block is generally made of steel sheets, but those with good rigidity have stronger durability. If the rigidity is poor, it will shift after prolonged collision, making it impossible for the sliding door to stop in its original position. In fact, metals all have a fatigue period and are easily deformed after long-term work, while stop blocks made of copper are corrosion-resistant and can maintain stability for a long time. Therefore, it is advisable to choose such materials as much as possible
